Sportsmanship?!?!?!

Ok, so I am watching ESPN first take today and a story really intrigued me, in Texas two high school girls basketball teams played and the final score was 100-0, yes that’s right 100-0. Now what got to me was the head coach of the winning team (Team A) was fired while nothing happened to anyone from the losing team (Team B). Yeah doesn’t make sense does it?
Ok I heard rumors that Team B might have possibly been a special education school which if it is true is sad but, if that’s the case why should they play against regular varsity high school teams. The coach of Team A got fired for not apologizing for scoring 100 points….WHAT?!?!?! That might be the single most ignorant thing to ever happen in history of sports. He basically lost his job for telling his team to play the game, he didn’t press the second half and if you seen the film you saw that Team B just kept throwing the ball to Team A.
In my opinion the athletic director of team b should be fired for making this schedule team b has not won a game in 4 years!!! Come on 4 years that’s absurd. If you know your team is that bad why would u subject them to that kind of game every week. How can the coach of Team A be fired for not telling his kids to take it easy and not apologizing for telling his team to play hard? This is the fundamental problem with sports today, they want everyone to play hard and don’t want anyone to feel bad for losing, its athletics some is going to win and someone is going to lose point black period. And if you don’t like athletics is not the area you need to be in.
This is a problem to me in sports today, you constantly hear about people saying “they ran the score up” but like Bill Belichek said it’s our job to score and your job to stop us if you don’t want someone to run up the score stop them and if you can’t oh well take your butt whooping and get over it.

Well that’s my daily rant lol stop by soon to see what else I have to say.
